Refund policy
CANCELLATIONS
Should you need to cancel your order, please phone Aluminium Warehouse at the soonest convenience on: 0800 520 0729. We operate with a lead time of 1-3 working days, however during quieter periods we can turn around orders quicker, therefore it's important to let us know before we have your metal ready to be delivered. We regret we can not cancel an order if the metal has already been cut to size, even if the order hasn't been dispatched.
RETURNS POLICY
Goods can be returned (This excludes products that are not full lengths (the maximum size offered) or have been custom cut to size) subject to the conditions below. Refunds will not be issued before the goods are received by us and checked to be in re-saleable condition. If you wish to return an item please contact us before doing so, call 0800 520 0729 or email hello@aluminiumwarehouse.co.uk. Please read the conditions below so that you are fully aware of our terms and conditions for returns.
Conditions:
- The goods must be well packaged, so that damage is prevented. Damaged goods will not be refunded.
- If you wish to return an item (which is not faulty or the wrong goods have been sent), you will need to arrange for the goods to be returned with a courier at your own cost.
- Returned items should be in their original packaging and unused. We will not accept and refund items that have signs of use or damage.
- We do not refund the delivery cost or the cost of delivery to us if it was free delivery. This will be deducted from any refund made. This also applies to any discount as this may affect the amount that was applied to the original order.
- Please make sure that you double check your measurements when ordering custom cut material as these orders are non-refundable.
- Items need to be returned within 14 days to be eligible for a refund.
Please note: We are not able to issue a refund for processed materials (lengths that are not the maximum offered or materials that have been cut to specified dimensions) or bespoke items, as we are unable to re-list and re-sell these products.
The following are classed as bespoke materials and we cannot offer to restock for a refund.
- Any polished materials
- Any custom folded angles/channel or other custom folded shapes.
- Any powder coated materials
Any order that has been processed before cancellation can be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%.
FAULTY GOODS
In the unlikely event that your goods arrive damaged please call our helpline immediately. To conduct our investigation we may ask for photographic evidence of the damage so we can assess how it has happened. Once we have confirmed responsibility for the damage we will arrange for a replacement to be sent and the damaged goods to be collected.
You have 5 working days to notify us of any issues with your delivery. We have a time sensitive claims procedure with our courier and need to complete a full in house investigation before we are able to fully solve any issues.
After 5 working days, any damaged, missing or incorrect items may not be rectified without you incurring additional costs.
