Grade CZ121 is the popular grade of round bar at Aluminium Warehouse. Within this brass metal there is a small addition of lead in the chemical composition. The small (3%) lead content, mixed with both zinc and copper, offers the brass rod bar lubrication and acts as a chip breaker. In turn, this gives brass bar a 100% (excellent) machinability rating, and can be used for a wealth of applications in both hardware and architectural fabrications. Not only is fabrication possible from machining and hot working, CZ121 brass bar also has good to excellent corrosion resistance. This opens up more opportunities to use brass metal in a variety of different environments.

All of our brass bar and brass rod is supplied in 300mm lengths, with a range of diameters from 3mm up to 50mm, with popular sizes in between including 12mm diameter brass bar, 15mm brass bar and more.
