Aluminium Five Bar Treadplate - Angle

Our five bar angle is a bespoke profile that is designed to work as corner protectors, wall trims, stair edging or for similar uses. It has the iconic raised five bar pattern for hardwearing functionality and an industrial aesthetic.

This treadplate is available to order in a range of sizes to accommodate different settings and surfaces. All of our chequer plate is in alloy grade 5754H111. Aluminium 5754 has excellent corrosion resistance, especially to industrially polluted atmospheres and even seawater. 

The five bar angle starts its shelf-life as a five bar tread plate sheet. It is then heated, bent to a 90 degree angle and then cooled. The cooling process hardens the tread plate sheet to give it the rigid angle structure.
