Easyfix Tube & Connectors
The Easyfix aluminium tube system is our very own kit-building invention from Aluminium Warehouse. Aluminium is our specialist material and one of the most popular and versatile metals readily available. The kit is made up of a 25mm square tube, the aluminium tubes have a thin wall that tightly fit the tube connectors, together it can be built into a strong and solid, free-standing structure.
Easyfix says it all in the name. It is easy! In fact, it's designed for anyone to use. Homeowners, DIYers and even Pro's. The uses are plentiful and the limit of ideas goes only as far as where your imagination will take you. Using a 25mm square tube over anything larger, makes the framework less intrusive. For example, if you're building racking for your garage or shed, it will take up less space and offer more room to store things. It's a great invention to get yourself organised.
How does Easyfix work?
To connect and build this kit, all you require is a rubber mallet. No power tools, hands tools or even adhesives are required! It really is as low budget and easy as that. The tube connector is specifically designed to fit very snuggly and hold onto the 25mm square tube. To ease the tube profile into the connector, simply tap the end of the tube with the mallet until it's firmly in place. Once it's been fitted, we do not recommend removing the tube out. It can be done, but over time this may wear the connection and we can not guarantee you're build will be a solid structure, especially if holding weight. After you've 'tapped' in your first easyfix tube, you can repeat this step until you're satisfied with your project. This method of building will assemble any size structure in a grid-like construction. The limited use of different building materials makes it the easiest and quickest construction solution for small budgets.
Whilst all of our tubes are a 25mm square tube, we do offer a variety of lengths. You can buy this aluminium tube in increments of 1 meter going up to 5 meters in length. In addition, there is a wide choice of shapes and angles from our tube connector range. A 2-way tube connector will allow you to build a corner at a 90 degree angle. Whilst a 3-way connector with take that angle from left to right as well as up so you have the side of a cuboid. A 4-way connector will allow you to add easyfix tubes in all directions!
But it doesn't stop there. There are more accessories in our Easyfix kit for you to complete your project. We have adjustable feet to lift it off the ground and castor wheels to make it mobile! Or even a simple plastic end cap to seal the edges of the tube, protect fingers from cut pieces and provide a professional finish.

What's also great about this aluminium tube, is that it is available to buy in a range of colours. Black painted aluminium tube is one of our most popular styles. Yellow painted tube is brilliant for getting noticed, ideal in warehouses where you might need to colour-code or aid safety regulations.
There is also a silver anodised easyfix tube. Anodising is a process of adding an anodic film. This creates another layer of protection against corrosion resistance and is harder wearing.
