Aluminium Double Feathered Edge
Aluminium double feathered edge moulding, also referred to as 'DFE', is a slim aluminium profile with curved corners on both edges and a flat base.
The purpose of the feathered edge moulding is to mount or fix these pieces to applications that will benefit from it's smooth aesthetic appearance, as well as offering a hard-wearing trim.
DFE profiles can also be used as door, carpet or floor thresholds to securely hold and bridge the gap between two areas of flooring.
Commonly found in trucks, trailers, caravans, warehouses, shop fittings and even stair rails.
All of our double feathered edge moulding is supplied in aluminium grade 6063T4. This is a medium strength alloy. It works best in intricate architectural applications. 6063 has a good surface finish, high corrosion resistance and if needed, is readily suited to welding.
