The DMT W8 Double sided diamond whetstones will not break, chip, crack, hollow or groove. These ultra precision (12 - 15 microns) whetstones are lightweight and have a totally rigid construction.

The W8 whetstone is made from the hardest material which is one of the most efficient sharpening abrasive. Available in unique interrupted surface and continuous surface, light pressure produces a sharp edge with just a few strokes.

Use water for lubrication no oil, smell or mess and can hone ALL hard materials: carbide, steel, etc. and is supplied with Non-skid mat.

The green side (Extra Fine) is suitable for general carpenters tools, wood flat bits, auger bits, garden tools, darts, fish hooks, masonry drills etc.
The blue side (Coarse) is suitable for knives, woodworking tools, T/C tooling etc.
