Application: This is more expensive than the common 304 grade due to it's improved corrosion resistance and is often referred to as 'arine grade'. Typically used for: Marine applications, boat fittings, Coastal applications, Chemical and petrochemical equipment etc.

Machinability: This grade offers good machinability.

Forming: Excellent for brake forming. Welding performance is good.
